I am pleased to announce the availability of BLCR 0.8.0_beta2 from http://mantis.lbl.gov/blcr-dist/ Both source tarball and SRPM are available. The filenames and MD5 checksums are: f50b71304cf3ca6cfbecc1f87f6b47c4 blcr-0.8.0_b2-1.src.rpm f4b333415c6ec2cf41a1b0daaca3e7ce blcr-0.8.0_b2.tar.gz Relative to the previous beta, this release fixes the following: + a kernel memory corruption problem with FPU restore on i386 & x86_64 + the last known Xen-specific bug + multiple problems discovered in the "prctl.ct" test Additionally, an unfinished SPARC64 port is now included. Relative to the eventual 0.8.0 release, this Beta is lacking a few minor features and the HTML documentation may need additional updates. Based on our in-house testing, this release is considered stable (though ARM and PPC platforms are still designated as EXPERIMENTAL due to our inability to test them as well as i386 and x86_64). If you have reported a bug recently, especially if you've been told to expect a fix in 0.8.0, please try out this Beta release and let us know if your problem is fixed and especially if it is not.
