      Yes, we support Debian, though perhaps not as well or actively as we 
    do the RPM-based distros.
      Please have a look at the dmesg output for any clues as to what 
    insmod's specific complaint might be.  The most likely problem is 
    described at http://upc-bugs.lbl.gov/blcr/doc/html/FAQ.html#kcompiler
