    I've posted BLCR_0_4_pre3_snapshot_2006_09_06 to
    http://mantis.lbl.gov/blcr-dist
If anybody still sees compilation or runtime failures on kernels
    2.6.14-2.6.17, please let me know.

    Here is the ChangeLog entry:

    BLCR_0_4_pre3_snapshot_2006_09_06
    --------
    September 6, 2006
Snapshot for kernels 2.6.13 though 2.6.17
     - This snapshot resolves compilation issues on vanilla kernel.org kernel
       versions 2.6.14, 2.6.15, 2.6.16, 2.6.16.20 and 2.6.17
     - Kernel 2.6.13 (which worked before) has also been tested
     - No 2.6.x.y kernels have been tested other than 2.6.16.20
     - No kernels older than 2.6.13 have been tested.
     - No disto-specific kernels have been tested.
     - This snapshot has been tested only on a 2-way P4 Xeon w/ Hypertheading.
     - AMD64 or EM64T compilations pass, but no runtime checks have been done.
     - This snapshot contains work in progress that is unrelated to the
"port" to newer kernels and has not been widely tested.
