    Snapshots of my current development version are available on request. 
    This will include x86_64 on Linux 2.6 for single-threaded programs only 
    (at least in my testing). Therefore, this excludes LAM/MPI, which uses a 
    checkpoint thread.
    
    Note that we will never support x86_64 with a 2 .4 kernel.
