Jason Duell is a member of the Future Technologies Group in the
Computational Research Division at Lawrence Berkeley National
Laboratory. He is also a graduate student in Computer Science at the
University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on runtime and
operating systems support for parallel computing. His current projects
include the open-source Berkeley Unified Parallel C compiler/runtime,
and Berkeley Checkpoint/Restart for Linux. Before coming to LBL Jason
was a Linux kernel programmer at Compaq, where he wrote a distributed
TCP/IP kernel stack for the Compaq Single System Image for Linux
project.
